Different from traditional Wedding Videography

This is an optional add-on service for my Wedding Photography services. There is NO posing or setups, and NO pretty cinematic effects or music. Instead, I capture video snippets throughout a wedding day of all the fun, upfront & behind-the-scenes action, and MUCH more!

FAQ’s

  • What do you mean by add-on service?
I can only offer this service to couples where I am the official Wedding Photographer, as an optional add-on to my packages. The reason is it’s only possible because I am actually attaching a tiny video camera to myself, and using it while I am taking all of the normal wedding photographs on the day.

  • How is this video service different to traditional Wedding Videography?
You will receive unique vision from a perspective that only I see. As the official Wedding Photographer I am always in the best and most privileged of positions, and I witness up close all the fun, action, drama and so much more! Traditional Wedding Videography is more choreographed, posed, and setup, and it’s delivered in a more curated and film-like fashion, often set to romantic music.

  • Do you record the full wedding ceremony?
No, only some snippets where possible. This is because I am 100% focused on photographing your wedding, and that task remains absolutely paramount. Filming the entire ceremony requires larger video cameras (usually placed on tripods), and audio microphones attached to the couples/celebrant. All of that needs to be constantly monitored by a dedicated operator and thus is costly..

  • What about privacy?
As with the wedding photographs I take, I do not record anything inappropriate, and I always respect privacy. Additionally, all the editing afterwards is done by myself in my own office here in Melbourne, and is never seen by anyone else. I do not outsource my editing to places in India or China like so many other wedding photographers/videographers do these days. Thus your privacy is fully protected.

  • Do you record every single moment that happens?
Unfortunately no, that is impossible because weddings are filled with thousands of moments, and I can’t be everywhere at the same time. It’s important to remember that I am giving my 100% focus to the wedding photography, and I turn on the video camera attached to me only when possible.

  • Do we get a highlight reel set to music?
No. Instead what you get is a set of video snippets. These are included with all the wedding photos you get in a FREE ‘Digital Wedding Album’ that I give to every couple, and is accessible on any device to view and share as you wish (password protected).

  • How many video snippets do we get?
This will largely depend on how many hours I am at your wedding and what is going on. As a ballpark figure I anticipate you will get at least a dozen or so snippets,

  • What is the cost?
    $750.
