”Alan is an absolute professional who gave a service above and beyond all our expectations.” Rebecca & Shaun.

“We couldn't be more thrilled! Alan you have captured everyone and everything we could possibly imagine”. Tamra and Ferjani.

“Alan thank-you so much, our photos turned out beautifully with moments that will live on forever.” Sharmaine and Joel.

Each wedding big or small, is amazing and epic in its own unique way. My mission is to feel… to sense… to anticipate moments, and then expertly capture them! At the end of the day weddings are all about love, and I realise how important it is for each family to have their own special moments recorded forever.

Background

It all started as a teenager when I captured this black/white image of an old homeless man sitting alone in a Melbourne CBD street. As I was developing the print in my darkroom (no digital back then), I realised I had frozen in time a moment of a mans life, and it dawned on me the enormous power that a photograph can have to document people, and also to evoke emotions in the viewer, which for me in this case was empathy and sadness.

The image won an award back then and it paved the way for my life long journey into photography. You can see some of my Street Photography click here and Family Photography click here.
